The Carolina Panthers Have Interviewed 15 GM Candidates

Who will be the next General Manager of the Carolina Panthers? We don’t know, but it seems like the hiring decision should come soon. It has been reported that Carolina just interviewed GM candidates 14 and 15 in their search for a new GM.

Being the General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes in 2021 is a new and unique opportunity in the NFL, as owner David Tepper has made it clear with words and checkbook that head coach Matt Rhule has the power and is involved in the GM selection process. The next General Manager of the Carolina Panthers will not be in a position to bring in his own guy as coach.

Charean Williams from ProFootballTalk (via Yahoo sports) reports that Seahawks VP of football operations Scott Fitterer and Steelers VP of football and business administration Omar Khan are the latest candidates. In other news, it seems like fans on the Panthers Instagram account (just read the comments on any post) are not fans of signing Dwayne Haskins!
